Text Box: Minimum caliber for Limited division is 9mm, however, most competitors use .40 or .45.  Pistols are generally "double-stack" single action autos.  No limit on magazine capacity, however, magazines are limited to 140mm length, 170mm for single stack pistols.  Optical  or electronic sights are not allowed.  Compensators and/or barrel ports are not allowed.  Race-type holsters are allowed and there are no restrictions on position of holsters and magazine pouches.  Common brands used are:  STI, SV, Glock, Paraordnance, CZ, and Springfield.  This is the "stock-car" of practical shooting.

Pistols can be either singles stack or "double-stack", single action autos.  Competitors are limited to 10 rounds in each magazine after the start signal.  Optical  or electronic sights are not allowed.  Compensators and/or barrel ports are not allowed.  Race-type holsters are allowed and there are no restrictions on position of holsters and magazine pouches.  Brands used are the same as those listed for Limited.  This is the "stock-car" of practical shooting.

 

 

 

               

           

Text Box: Minimum caliber is 9mm.  Pistols are limited to 6 rounds.  Electronic/optical sites are not permitted.  Barrels may not be compensated or ported.  Race-type holsters are permitted and there are no restrictions on the position of the holsters and speed-loaders.  The most common calibers used are .38, .357 and .45, with pistols modified to accept "moon-clips."  Cosmetic modifications that do not give a competitive advantage are allowed.  Smith and Wesson are the most common pistols used.

 

 

 

 

           

              

Text Box: Minimum caliber is 9mm.  Handguns may not be single action at the first shot.  Race-type holsters are not allowed and restrictions on positioning of holsters and magazine pouches exist.  Barrels are limited to 5.5" in length.  Magazines are limited to only 10 rounds after the start signal.  Basic reliability improvements are allowed.  External modifications, other than sights, are not allowed.  After market grips and grip tape are allowed, however, modification to the grips are not allowed.  Common pistols used are Glocks, HKs, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Sig, and CZs.  Productions is your basic out of the box pistol.   Production scores minor, only.   Production division can be compared to racing "street cars."
